Robert E. Porterfield Papers
Folios contain copies of financial and legal documents of Whitworth College from the time of its relocation from Tacoma to Spokane up to 1938. Correspondence of O.E. Porterfield and other administrators of the college and its board of trustees is included.

Many of the records in the file are in the Swedish language. It is a genealogist’s cornucopia of names of Nordic families who migrated to the Pacific Northwest and settled in Spokane, Washington.

Frank F. Warren Presidential Papers
The bulk of the collection consists of folders of Frank Furniss Warren’s addresses and sermons during his tenure as president of Whitworth College. Also included are sections on his death and memorialization. Warren’s interactions with the college programs and members of his board of trustees are scattered throughout the collection.
