Activities of the Rev. Jonathan C. Nelson, prominent leader in social justice and peace efforts. He became nationally known for his leading of the peaceful picketing of the Trident Submarine Base at Bangor, Washington.
Rev. Walter A. Soboleff - Alaska
This collection contains copies of articles on the life of Rev. Walter A. Soboleff. Included are census records from his early life, military records, yearbooks, activist activities, and documents from his work as a Presbyterian Pastor. Also included in the collection is one original Synod of Washington Minutes book with records from 1949-1953 as he was Elected Moderator of the Synod in 1952. The book includes a full page photograph of him.

Rodney R. Romney Papers
This collection consists of the papers of Rev. Rodney R. Romney. Included are papers Romney wrote and lectures Romney gave concerning peace in the Middle East, homosexuality, and aging. Speeches given at various conferences can also be found in the collection. Also included are Romney's Manna sermons (1980-2000) as well as sermons he gave when visiting churches after his retirement in the early 2000's.
Salem Lutheran Church (Spokane, Wash.) Records
The file contains mostly the early records of Salem Lutheran Church, nee Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Salem Church of Spokane Falls, Washington Territory. Many of the records in the file are in the Swedish language. It is a genealogist’s cornucopia of names of Nordic families who migrated to the Pacific Northwest and settled in Spokane, Washington.
Sharon L. Parks Papers
This collection consists of the budget, research, and interview materials of Sharon L. Parks. Parks is an alumnus of Whitworth College and served as the Associate Chaplain at Whitworth College from 1972 -- 1974. All materials in this collection were sued by Parks to write her dissertation: Faith Development and Imagination in the Context of Higher Education.
