Files received from the office of the president after the retirement of Robert H. Mounce. Many folders date back to the time of Edward B. Lindaman. Included are folios naming acting presidents, provosts, deans and executive vice presidents.

The pre-nursing program operated jointly by Whitworth College and the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing is described. In addition the transition to a cooperative program conducted by the Spokane Center for Nursing Education is covered.

Mostly covers the activities of the Associated Students of Whitworth College. Financial records, especially those for the 1989-1990 academic year, reveal much about student participation in the governance of the college and student support of worthwhile projects.
