This is a collection of donation records of gifts given to Whitworth University from various churches from the years 1940 to 1972.

Records of the office of the sixteenth president of Whitworth College, Dr. Arthur De Jong, including correspondence, internal relationships, and travels.
Edward B. Lindaman Papers
Materials from the office of the president accumulated during the presidency of Edward B. Lindaman (1970-1980). There are some overlaps with the administrations of Mark L. Koehler, president and Clarence J. Simpson, interim president.
Robert H. Mounce Papers
Files received from the office of the president after the retirement of Robert H. Mounce. Many folders date back to the time of Edward B. Lindaman. Included are folios naming acting presidents, provosts, deans and executive vice presidents.
Robert E. Porterfield Papers
Folios contain copies of financial and legal documents of Whitworth College from the time of its relocation from Tacoma to Spokane up to 1938. Correspondence of O.E. Porterfield and other administrators of the college and its board of trustees is included.
Frank F. Warren Presidential Papers
The bulk of the collection consists of folders of Frank Furniss Warren’s addresses and sermons during his tenure as president of Whitworth College. Also included are sections on his death and memorialization. Warren’s interactions with the college programs and members of his board of trustees are scattered throughout the collection.
George F. Whitworth Papers
The bulk of this collection consists of George Frederick Whitworth’s personal diaries along with transcriptions. There are also biographical and genealogical materials, publications and miscellaneous documents regarding G.F. Whitworth gathered from many sources.
