Historical Note

The church was dedicated in June 1909 and Rev. Leo Totten was the first pastor. A new sanctuary was built in 1913 under Rev. David W. Ferry. In 1947 the original church was replaced with a new Christian education unit under Rev. Garth Steele. Under Rev. Richard Redfield, a new sanctuary was dedicated in 1955.

Abstract

This collection contains the minutes from Session, Board of Trustees, Boards of Deacons, Christian Education, Empire Builders, The Quilters, and the Women’s Association. There are also attendance records for the adult Sunday school, Bible Class, and Worship. Rev. Garth Steele’s sermons are also arranged alphabetically. Additionally, there is correspondence from committees and Bertha Hoffman-Rudolph while in prison. There is also “The Messenger” the church newsletter from 1985-1994.
