Biographical / Historical
The Interfaith Council was founded in 2004, taking the place of the Spokane Council of Ecumenical Ministries (previously known as the Spokane Christian Coalition). The organization focused on a variety of different social justice issues including domestic violence, support the marginalized, and many international as well as local issues. They worked to unite people of all faiths and often hosted multifaith events. The Council also helped run the Fig Tree Publication
