Biographical / Historical
After the Bolshevik revolution in Russia the interest in communism grew worldwide including in the United States. As the Communist, Socialist and Fascist groups grew so did those groups fighting to maintain the American democratic way of life. Some did so under the best intentions’ others slid in to nativist, racist or other radical mindsets. The categories are done by the cataloger’s best ability as each publication was not read in entirety.

Abstract
This collection contains originals of anti-communist publications, communist publications, fascist publications, and socialist publications. They include books, pamphlets, magazines and newspapers mostly from the 1930’s but stretching from 1925 – 1950s and 1970s. Most were published in the United States but were all written for American audiences.
