Biographical / Historical
Gus Williams attended Whitworth College at the Tacoma Campus for the 1909-10 year, he stayed out two years returning in 1913. He was active as the captain of the football team, played basketball, student body president, and member of the Criterion Literary Society, and Y.M.C.A. He graduated in 1914 and took a job as the Principal and Athletic Coach at Marysville High School in Marysville Washington. He was living in San Diego California when he died in 1974.
