Biographical / Historical
The church began in a tent in 1885 and the first building was built the same year, and a new church building was built in 1902. Camp Ghormley began in 1939 and is owned by the church. The first female elder of the church, Jeanne Lagervall began her position in 1965. The church went through the dismissal process from 2011-2013. After dismissal in 2013, the church was re-incorporated to the name Grace of Christ Presbyterian Church of Yakima.
