Biographical / Historical
The First Presbyterian Church was organized on August 12, 1877. On February 13, 1907, the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church were united to create the First Presbyterian Church of Walla Walla. On January 7, 1948, Mrs. James H Barrie was ordained as their first Ruling Elder. On August 2, 1987, the church participated in a Reconciliation Service in Oregon, which had the goal to reconcile with the Native American people and the tribes that were affected by the 1847 “Indian War”. The church was dismissed in 2013.

Abstract
This collection contains the various organizational documents of the church such as for loans and the nominating committee correspondence. Additionally, there are bulletins on the history and the property projects. There are bulletins and photos of the Reconciliation Service, as well.
