Bickleton First Presbyterian Church was founded in 1903. There was a period between 1919 to 1926 where there was no minister in position at the church, so there were very few services held. There were additions and remodeling done to the church in the 1940s. A new building was created to house the Sunday school in the 1950s. The church celebrated its 75th anniversary on April 16, 1978 and the centennial celebration was held in the summer of 2003. The church was dismissed in 2012.
