Biographical / Historical
First Presbyterian Church of Renton was established by Reverend George F. Whitworth in 1885. This was the fifth church organized by Rev. Whitworth. He served as pastor at the church until 1899. The original church building was sold in 1924 to buy a larger church which was in turn sold in 1958 for an even larger piece of land. The church was also known as Living Faith Presbyterian Church in the 1990s.
