Biographical / Historical
Bethel Presbyterian was organized on April 27, 1920 and was comprised of 78 charter members from the Woodland Park Pres. Congregation. Rev. Carl S. Gladfelter was the founding pastor. The church continued to grow and the highest recorded membership was 571 members in 1961. Bethel Pres. eventually merged with Trinity Presbyterian Church in August of 2011 with their last service being held on July 31, 2011.
