Biographical / Historical

Adventure of Faith Church was first chartered in 1979 under the name South Kitsap Presbyterian Church. Reverend John Flahiff organized the church’s members, mission statement, by-laws and other legalities. The church had 19 founding members. In October of 2001 the South Kitsap Presbyterian Church changed its name to Adventure of Faith Presbyterian Church which remained until 2013 when the church severed its relationship with PC(USA) and became known as Adventure of Faith Church.
