Biographical/Historical note

Stephen T. Davis (B.A. Whitworth College, 1962) received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Claremont Graduate University in 1970. In 2003 he became the Russell K. Pitzer Professor of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College. He was the visiting professor of philosophy at Whitworth University for the 2010 fall term of instruction. He has published extensively in the areas of philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, and Christian thought. Copies of his works are available in the Harriet Cheney Cowles Library of Whitworth University.
