Biographical Note

Reverend E. Paul Hovey served for many years as the minister of Congregational Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, Idaho. During his time there and his retirement years in Portland, Oregon, Hovey collected and compiled information on the history of the Presbyterian church in the Northwest.

Collected and assembled by E. Paul Hovey and given to William B. Ailes, Executive Presbyter Emeritus for the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest, c. 1985. Mr. Ailes dontaed the materials on 2003 November 16.
