This file contains information about the athletics department at Whitworth College. Much of this information came from Paul J. Merkel, who served the department as baseball coach, football assistant and statistician from 1946 - 1990. He kept extensive files covering every sport offered by the college. Merkel Papers but the name of the collection has since been changed to Athletic Department.
